Awana

Director: Bob Kern

Awana, (Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed) is an international children’s program that has promoted Bible memorization and the Gospel message for over seventy years.

Awana is a non-denominational ministry that assists churches in reaching children with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him.

Children from age four through sixth grade are welcome to join in the fun events and solid Bible teaching from September to May each year.

Awana meets on Fridays from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. for songs, games and special events. Through the year, we host special events. The Awana Grand Prix, is where children make and race pinewood Derby cars. T&Ters engage in friendly competition of Bible knowledge in a regional Bible Quiz. A quarterly Awana Store allows children to spend the “Awana Dollars” they earned with completing section of their books. Other special events include Movie Night and filling gift boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

We have reached the maximum amount of children for this year. If you'd like to place your child on a waiting list, please contact Bob Kern at bobk1528@gmail.com.
