How Can I Be Saved?

How Can I Be Forgiven By God?

What Does The Bible Say About Salvation?

I Don’t Want Man’s Opinion, I Want God’s Truth.

The Scripture teaches that Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for salvation.

We can be saved through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior plus nothing!

READ GOD’S WORD FOR YOURSELF, AND MAKE YOUR OWN COMMITMENT.

For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

For the wages of sin is death.  Romans 6:23

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.     Romans 5:8

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16

But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.  John 20:31

Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved…    Acts 16:31

But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.     Romans 6:23

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.     Acts 4:12

Yet to all who received him [Jesus Christ], to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become the children of God.  John 1:12

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved       Romans 10:13

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him [Jesus Christ] must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.    Hebrews 11:6

But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.  John 20:31

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.  Romans 10:9-10

OK, Now what do I do with all that I have learned from the Bible verses (God’s eternal truth)?   The only conclusion is that you must give your life to the Lord for the eternal forgiveness of all of your sin and the salvation of your soul.

It is this simple to begin:  That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.   Romans 10:9

You must now pray the sinner's prayer.  You can say it in your own words or you can repeat this prayer (if you really mean it):   Dear God, I am a sinner and I need your complete forgiveness.   I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for me.   I believe that Jesus Christ is raised from the dead.  Please forgive me, clean me from all of my sin, and save my soul from Hell.  I will be your servant for the rest of my life.   Thank you for answering my prayer.  AMEN.

Then you must live your life for God, in the light of His truth (the Bible), and by His power.  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10

Four Things you must do as soon as possible:

1.    Tell someone else you have trusted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

2.    Get a Bible and begin reading it every day – we suggest you begin reading in the Gospel of John.

3.    Join a church where the Bible is taught, and the congregation works to serve God and live godly lives.

4.    Continue praying to God every day - asking God for help, wisdom, and daily provision.
